Gaelle produces individual design solutions for both
private and corporate clients by blending photography with glass design
to create spaces of an unforgettable fresh and natural feel. The photographic
artwork can be mounted, shaped and textured, becoming an external water
feature or even part of the architectural fabric of a building. By
integrating additional elements such as lighting, sound and aromas,
Gaelle provides a complete and holistic approach to bespoke glass artwork
design for interior designers and architects. Gaelle has successfully
entered the UAE and US market with her innovative work.
Examples of projects:
Hotel design featuring bespoke furniture design, space screening and decorative artwork stand alone and wall mounted.
Architectural branding featuring entrance wall feature, elements of fade and other screens.
Sculptural feature developed in CAD with the School of Jewellery.
"Wave by wave" art panel inspired by the sea. Directly printed on the glass, this laminated panel has been crafted to decorate beautifully individual interiors.
Design Hub. Recent commission in the West Midlands. I was commissioned to create a feature on the frontage of a 3 storey building. The brief was to create a visual identity for the Design Hub as a beacon for design in the region.
Realease water feature. Commissioned by a group of individual I created a water feature using the print of waves into the intricate pattern of the glass to lead the water down into a black limestone base. The unique piece of artwork was successfully delivered in February 2007 to the client in the Bahamas.
