ELIGIBILITY OF BUSINESSES
To qualify for the scheme, you must fit certain eligibility, which is:

• You must be aged 16+
  
• You must be one of the following:
  - Self-employed, paying tax through self assessment
  - Limited company
  - Charity
  - Community Interest Company (i.e. a social enterprise)
  - Partnership or Limited Liability Partnership

If you do not fit into any of these categories, then you may still be eligible. To check this, email Jo at: jo.dunlop@hi8us.co.uk

• Your business must fit into one of the following sectors:
  - animation
  - interactive media
  - film and television
  - photography
  - music (including radio)
  - serious gaming
  - computer gaming
  - digital imaging (graphic design, illustration)
  - a creative business which has a clear mission to diversify into any of the above
  ..sectors
  

• You should live or trade in the West Midlands which covers:
  - the counties of Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire;
  - the three unitary authorities of Herefordshire, Stoke-on-Trent and Telford & Wrekin;
  - the seven metropolitan districts of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell,
  ..Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
  
  
• You must be willing to complete the full programme, meet regularly with your mentor(s) at a time that is convenient to you both and attend the workshops selected by the Creative Project Manager.
  
  
• You should not have benefited already from any Digital Central project. If you are unsure, we can check this for you.

The scheme is available until September 2007. Participants are expected to attend at least one evening workshop, mentoring and project development meetings are flexible.
